AYACUCHO REGIONAL GOVERNMENT IS IN THE MIDDLE THIRD IN USE OF RESOURCES ADEX

The more information offered by the institutions, better perception of the city government expenditure. So says the study RankinCAD Use of Public Resources 2010 prepared by CAD Ciudadanos al Día 15.500 based on surveys conducted by Ipsos Apoyo in 158 institutions across the country. RankinCAD evaluated the perception of citizens about the expenditure incurred by government entities and information on these costs to be made available to the public.

On average, the total respondents, 35% approve of the use of resources of state agencies and 32% reported that they are properly informed about the expenditure. That is, 3 out of 10 people surveyed believe that public bodies spend their resources properly and a similar number of respondents believes that entities properly reported their expenses.

Ayacucho Regional Government is ranked 11 of the middle third with 305 points on a maximum scale of 500. For its part, the provincial capital city is in the lower ranks 24th with 230 points.

51% of respondents considered that the Ombudsman's spent properly resources and 50% reporting their spending properly. The municipalities of Lima and Callao indicators are 38% and 35% respectively. With regard to the opinion of the provincial municipalities of the capitals of regions, 21% perceive that resources are properly spent and 18% reporting spending appropriately. In the Regional indicators are, respectively, 21% and 18%.
